2 St. Louis police officers shot, one critically wounded; suspect in custody after standoff

Two St. Louis police officers were shot Saturday night by a suspect who then barricaded himself inside a residence for nearly 12 hours before being taken into custody. The barricaded suspect was taken into custody and the area was deemed safe early Sunday, police tweeted just after 5:30 a.m. local time.
