Barack Obama: Scofflaw

69 Million Americans Elected this Man as President?

Barack Obama: ScofflawThe United States of America has been the greatest, strongest and most compassionate country in the world for many years now. Much of that favorable notoriety is the result of the often brilliant, but then sometimes, just barely adequate leadership of our ship of state.

Sadly, it now seems that our leadership has fallen into the less than adequate and just slightly above apocalyptic failure. We have now, a man that was elected by 69 million citizens (minus the many challenges of multiple votes, votes from ineligible aliens, and outright fraud.) And even he himself appears to be unqualified in meeting the United States Constitution’s requirement to be a natural born citizen. This latter allegation is on the agendas for court rulings in several states as well as the United States Supreme Court. Challenges for proof of satisfactorily meeting the natural born requirement have been sloughed off by several judges who were in all probability, in agreement with those who say it doesn’t matter whether Obama is or is not a natural born citizen. The expression that covers that scenario and its adherents is called “scofflaw” defined as a person who flouts the law, rules, conventions, or accepted practices. Usually these persons or scofflaws wind up behind bars or paying huge fines for defying our laws. Of course when you’re a man who has come by very large sums of income from absolutely unknown sources, as has our non-illustrious usurper of the presidency, you just scoff at the term scofflaw, or even sneer at it. When you’re that man you just state, “I won!” and ignore any attempts to get rectification of an illegal situation. The lack of common sense disdainfulness is a hallmark of this man who occupies our once revered White House, even to the extent that he does not recognize other people’s efforts to be good, law-abiding and self-sacrificing for the good of their fellow countrymen and women. Such was the case I wrote about in my last column, “Standards of Decency Lacking in Obama Administration” regarding the Obama Administration’s dogged pursuit and badgering of U. S. Marine Lt. Colonel Jeffrey Chessani on charges that have already been dismissed by military boards of justice. Also, recently this cold-hearted man who purports to be our President, made a demented proposal that would have made our military veterans pay for their own medical care from wounds or injuries suffered in the line of duty. In other words, if one of our soldiers or Marines got a leg blown off as a result of the explosion of an enemy land mine of mortar shell, he should have to pay for his medical costs by acquiring private medical insurance at his own expense. Well, fortunately we know where that turkey wound up; and it wasn’t on the soldier’s dinner table. It was rightfully shoved up the president’s uh, disdainful nose? Veterans’ organizations galore mounted a furious response that probably blistered his aplomb to the n’th degree. An unproven and even doubted, by the likes of Urban Legends (Snopes), widely circulated on the Internet comment attributed to Obama as his response was that the veterans were all volunteers and weren’t made to go to war and they should have accepted the risks and they (the veterans) should have been willing to help reduce the nation’s deficit by paying some of their medical costs. This attribution to Obama has never been publicly acknowledged nor denied, but it is generally accepted that he never made the statements. Absent any comment from the President, many people will go on believing that he really did say it and if he did, in my opinion, that would be very demoralizing to not only the veterans and active duty troops, but to the general populace as well. And just the knowledge that Obama did in fact make the suggestion that seriously injured veterans pay for their medical treatment with private insurance is very un-leaderlike and cold hearted when compared to the giveaways he has proposed for some of the non-veterans and for illegal aliens in particular who he would grant immediate amnesty and citizenship with many free benefits. I wonder if when he enacts his civilian youth corps for the “protection of the country” if he will ask them to pay for their health care costs. Do you suppose he will make all of those ACORN volunteers pay for their own injuries on the job while “protecting” the rest of us? You can bet that you would hear some fancy whining if they were ever asked to pay up. His plan to have injured veterans pay their own medical costs is shameful coming from a person who got degrees without charge from a college and two of the most prominent institutions of higher learning in the world. Could you ever in your wildest imagination believe Ronald Reagan or Winston Churchill would have such a daft, uncaring plan for our brave veterans such as that? He continues to provide evidence that he is absolutely NOT a United States citizen. Makes me wonder if he had also planned to have the families of the heroes who gave their lives pay for their burial expenses. It would be his style.
