Goose that laid golden eggs: Once this goose is dead, mankind may or may not ever be blessed again with another of God’s golden egg-laying goose such as America has been

A 21ST Century Version of an Aesop’s Fable

A 21ST Century Version of an Aesop’s Fable
One of Aesop’s most well-known fables is the man and his goose that laid golden eggs. That wonderful bird produced one golden egg each day, day after day after day. As the man became richer and richer he became greedier and greedier until he had the bright idea to kill the goose and retrieve all the gold at once. But alas, when he had done the deed, he opened the goose and found nothing. He destroyed the foundation of his wealth and proved that just because you’re rich doesn’t mean you’re smart.

In the 21st century, we are living this Aesop’s fable

In the 21st century, we are living this Aesop’s fable. In the 18th century, a group of men in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania gave the world a goose that laid golden eggs. In the intervening 250 years that goose has laid golden eggs day after day in the form of liberties, opportunities, and a system of government that allowed for unlimited riches for anyone willing to take full advantage of them. But alas, in the 21st century there is a cabal of the richest oligarchs in the world, who have benefitted the most from that goose known as the American free enterprise system, and who have self-identified as the smartest men in the world. Now these super-rich oligarchs have decided to kill that golden egg-laying goose in a fit of greed and desire for power. For 25 years, these greedy, power hungry men and their minions have been choking the goose to near death. If they succeed, like Aesop’s fabled man, they will have destroyed the very foundation of their wealth. Only God’s own children can step in and save that poor goose. But will they? Once this goose is dead, mankind may or may not ever be blessed again with another of God’s golden egg-laying goose such as America has been. Know God, know unlimited golden eggs. No God, no golden eggs. Know God, know America. No God, no America. Without America, there will be no free world.
