To all our friends... It's with a breaking heart this morning that I'm informing you all that my precious Debbie will be going home to our Lord, probably before too much longer without a miracle taking place.
She's been such an inspiration to me and our family. Her decision to do alternatives took courage that I'm sure I probably would not have had until I saw her take this step in regards to having control of her own life, and her own destiny. I know now I would do things the same way she did if I were diagnosed with this very same disease. Our quality of life for this last 14 months has been better than I could ever have imagined and by this our love for each other exceeded anything I could ever have imagined. I love her today, tomorrow and for every day hereafter. She is my world.

With that being said, I'd like for all of you to know I will be fine, just as she wants me to be. Thank you all so very much for all your love, concern and prayers sent our way. You all have been great, and you literally overwhelmed Deb and I both with your kindness. You showed us both, without question, the goodness that comes from people's hearts...even towards total strangers. Many, many of us have become close friends, even family, and I'd like to thank Judi and Brian of the Canada Free Press foe giving Deb and I the opportunity of doing our website. We love you two. Our site allowed us the opportunity to get to know you all, and by this, Deb's fight was made much easier through your concern for her. I can never thank you all enough. She sends her love to you all. Please tell your own family that you love them...life is not a given, but a blessing. Enjoy each day. In closing, I'd like to end this up with Deb's little saying that so many of you came to know... "Keep a smile on your face, and one in your heart!" God Bless you all.... Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
