David Broder writing what will come to be known as the most sycophantic piece of groveling drivel ever penned by a journalist in the history of mankind

A New Year

As Mallard Fillmore pointed out, 2009 was pretty much a repeat of 2008 except that this time the media were fine with it.

A lot happened during 2009 that would have caused banner headlines in 3 inch letters…if a Republican had been in charge. The current GOP outrage over the incredibly huge security gap caused by Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, and her completely naive remark that “the system worked”, is a prime example. Every in-depth article detailing the abysmal job this woman has done is buried within the paper, unless that paper is one of the few still publishing a few conservative pieces. Sure Janet, the system worked if you can call a Dutch passenger jumping on a guy who should have been profiled with smoke coming out of his underpants part of the system. Is it a part of TSA training we’ve never heard of? In answer to the “completely unwarranted attacks” by the rabid conservatives against Napolitano, the Washington Post, an extension of the Obama West Wing, had David Broder compose a love poem to the Homeland Security Secretary in the guise of a column. By writing what will come to be known as the most sycophantic piece of groveling drivel ever penned by a journalist in the history of mankind, Mr. Broder has allowed his sworn allegiance to the deification of anything Obama to destroy what little credibility he had. To anyone not suffering from mushy-brain syndrome or M-BS this should come as no surprise. David Broder is, after all, a member of the liberal media. Closer to my home planet of Nevada, Harry Reid committed several acts of bribery which would have caused the media and Congress to call for impeachment, indictment, expulsion and impaling if the same acts had been done by his Republican counterpart John Ensign. In order to fulfill his promise to HRH Obama, Senator Reid promised those remaining Democrat Senators with a few clinging shreds of integrity an offer they couldn’t refuse. What was this offer: upwards of an additional $160 million dollars in Medicare funding for these Senators’ states. Frankly, a large brown envelope would have been more honest. It is obvious that these men had not read the healthcare legislation as so many of their constituents had asked. If they had they would have seen the language that phases out Medicare funding. Harry promised these Senators money he will never have to deliver. On December 17, 2009, this lovely bit of Obamaism was published:
“Executive Order — Amending Executive Order 12425 EXECUTIVE ORDER- – – – – – -AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words “except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act” and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.”
If you look at the section from Executive Order 12425 you will see that this is not a minor change such as a correction in grammar. As I have said before, when it comes to legislation words matter and the words “except as those provided” can hide extremely catastrophic overtones, especially when they are written by a man who does not believe our Constitution matters. Consider the text of 2(c), which this Executive Order now has applying to Interpol: “(c) Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.” What this order does is grant that Interpol is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Their premises or staff can no longer be searched; their files are not subject to legal subpoena or discovery. Our government could simply hand over documents and files to agents of Interpol and we citizens, now stripped of those rights would no longer have access to a single paragraph. With this order, Interpol, an organization with its roots in Nazi Germany, can legally keep files now on every American and not one of us has a right of redress. You have to consider Obama’s failure at Copenhagen to see this in its proper light. The Copenhagen treaty was Barack Hussein Obama’s big chance to realize every sociofacist’s dream, to end US Sovereignty. If the treaty had gone as planned, his signature on the treaty would have signed over the governing of the United States to an unknown, unelected panel of Euro-environmentalists. When Russia and China surprised everyone by refusing to do that to their people the chance was squashed, and if you check Obama’s reaction to that you will see just how disappointed he was. So what does he do? Executive Order 12425 signs away our sovereignty. Interpol headquarters in the US is currently headquartered in the Department of Justice. Now another Interpol agency has been created in the DOJ. The DOJ? Isn’t that supposed to be a US government agency? So, Interpol has been granted diplomatic immunity by Obama. What does this mean? It means they have exemption from being subject to search and seizure by law enforcement, US taxes and immunity from FOIA requests and more. This action could also be used to undermine our military, not Obama’s favorite branch of our government. Since Interpol is primarily concerned with solving European issues, this will allow them to pursue any voice in America the Europeans find objectionable, and the First Amendment will not apply. If Interpol decides they don’t like a certain American having a weapon, this order gives them the freedom to confiscate it and the Second Amendment will not apply. Folks, this is Obama’s dream of globalism on gamma rays. Believe it or not, 2010 does offer those few remaining real Americans some hope. If you count up the numbers, the Tea Party with its Independents, disaffected Republicans, and Libertarians and so on, combined with the GOP, has more than enough votes to remove from office every single betrayer of trust currently in DC. What has to be done is those votes have to be expressed now in calls, letters and emails, if not personal visits to the district offices. No typical politician is responsive to their constituency unless pushed by an overwhelming fear of being voted out of power. I know, I’ve seen it happen. I was the force behind a bill being passed in the Nevada Assembly that the Powers That Be did not want to even be debated. The constituent response I directed set a record and consequentially made me an enemy of every politico in the state, including my own party. This is why it is so important that the people become active and take back their government. The media is joined at the hip with the sociofascists and they will not give any ink to someone who seems to be poised to become a true statesman. It will be up to you to do the research, such as reading columns like this one. Here is an example of an ignored candidate: Mike Montandon is a Republican candidate in the race to become the next Governor of Nevada. He is not listed in any article of note by either of the two daily newspapers in the state, even though he was the best performing Mayor in any of the three major cities in Southern Nevada and of all the candidates on either side, he is the only one with any executive public administration experience. So why is he getting little, if any press? Based on my own experience it is because he is “too honest to be trusted”. His record shows that he doesn’t accept favors that could be considered bribery. He has consistently acted in behalf of the whole, not the favored few. His major sin is that he does act; he doesn’t just call for task forces and panels that shield him from actually doing something. Which is why his city, North as Vegas became a place to move to rather than away from. Look for those traits in who you vote for. Don’t just accept empty promises such as those made by Harry Reid. We have to take our country back now. I am beginning to doubt that it can wait until November.
