American Veterans Vs American Dysphoria: "The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting by fools."

A Soldier is a Weapon, not a Tool, A Veteran is a Treasure, not a Fool

As if countering grandiose delusional disorder of not-so-public uncivil servants wasn't a big enough effort, now we have to deal with a demoralizing strategic ‘Diss-bombing’: disorder, dysmorphia, dysphoria--they name it. While Patriot Missiles won't dispose of ‘Diss-missiles', patriotic Veterans ‘diss’ them back.

For civilian population heavily hit with ‘Diss-bombs', the term "demoralization" refers to decadence and decay of morality. These who know war from its kitchen will quote a different definition: a process in psychological warfare meant to erode morale among enemy combatants and noncombatants.

A Close relationship between the civilian population and the military was also subjected to a slow erosion. Over the years propagandists' misrepresentation of the military resulted in a lack of understanding of the valor, lack of respect for the sacrifice and lack of necessary moral ascendancy in the youth.

Military is not the institution for social experiments and political correctness

As rightly observed by Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) , Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs: "the military is not the institution for social experiments and political correctness" and yet, the Brass has corroded that too. (Grothman: U.S. Military Isn’t Venue for Social Experiments and Political Correctness)

In the article "A Woke Military wouldn't have won WW2" (AMAC Exclusive May 29 2021)  David P. Deavel pays a heartfelt tribute to his five uncles, who served in WWII and reflects on the state of today's military: "They fought for a country they did not believe inherently racist or unjust. They fought for a country where the perfection of freedom was sought."

The Greatest Generation's value system--despised today by imperious vandals and rejected by dumbed down ingrates--is still our shield both in combat and in battles of life.

Silver Star recipient, an outstanding Marine Carl Dekle wrote his own obituary: "Once a Marine, always a Marine. His desires are to be known for love of his God, Love for his family, Love for his country and the great State of Florida.” (Florida WWII veteran dies 2 months after 100th birthday, leaving legacy of love for God, family, country)

What is the legacy of a "Modern Marine” supposed to be?:

The US Army hopes to tempt future recruits with a same-sex marriage recruitment video

I asked "Sir" and “Ma'am" from the woke mob?

If you want to make sure that inter-service rivalry still exists, look no further :

The US Army hopes to tempt future recruits with a same-sex marriage recruitment video and the US Navy has hired an active duty "non-binary" drag queen to head a military recruitment drive.

Causes of the unprecedented military recruitment crisis are clearly not being addressed

While the lowest ever entry test scores are being explained by "Millennials can't jump", and other "multiple factors" the causes of the unprecedented military recruitment crisis are clearly not being addressed.

If the rusty Brass should ask Veterans for help, they know how to stand their ground. Good luck "cancelling" a no-nonsense Vietnam Veteran

Who will protect the "staunch social justice advocates," who fight for funds for "gender affirming surgeries" but not for compensation for soldiers exposed to toxic substances?

Over the years systemic neglect turned thousands of homeless and disabled Veterans into a "vulnerable population". Isn't it ironic that today only Veterans can lead the nation out from the fog of war? In the words of the originator of political realism, Athenian historian and general, Thucydides (History of the Peloponnesian War , ca 410 BC): "The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting by fools."
