Thanks to the Democrats, Acorn is still getting our money

Acorn is still very much with us

Just when you thought the millions of dollars being funneled to Acorn was at an end, guess what? It ain’t necessarily so children.

On Tuesday evening, the House Appropriations Committee rejected on a straight party line vote of 9-5, an amendment offered by Rep Tom Latham (R-Iowa) that would have cut off funding to this corrupt outfit. The protector of this sleazy outfit is none other than the Attorney General Ron Holder. In a ruling which was revealed last month by the Justice Department, the Obama Administration invented a loophole whereby the government could continue to fund Obama’s friends at ACORN We need to know the names of all the Democrats on that House Committee that voted to continue funding for this slimy organization, of which Obama used to be the Attorney. According to Mr. Latham this amendment was needed to close the loophole because the Obama administration literally thumbed its nose at a provision in spending legislation that banned ACORN only until the end of next week. You definitely wouldn’t know any of this by reading the New York Times or any of the rest of the Lame Stream Media The only place you will get the straight goods, is Fox News, the Internet, and Conservative Talk Radio. How anyone with even half a brain in their head could trust anything coming out of a Democrat’s mouth is a great big mystery to me. The Democratic Party will never be accused of abusing the truth because they have never been close enough to the truth to touch it. Please don’t think that because I am down on the Democrats that I am giving a pass to the Republicans, as I get on them too, that is why I say all incumbents have to go ASAP, before our country is lost for good. Rep Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) is a big fan of ACORN and has given thousands of dollars over the years to ACORN, in fact it was Nadler who urged ACORN’s lawyer to sue the government, on the grounds that a ban on their funding would constitute a “bill of attainder”, so that is just what they did (Nadler you are a schmuck of the lowest order, and you should be investigate by the ethics committee). Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is worried that a proposed “Consumer Financial Protection Oversight Board” may give ACORN a position in shaping financial regulations, Bachmann said “the vague wording of the legislation (HR 4173) would ultimately allow representatives from ACORN to sit on this board”. (scary thought)
