London became Canada's first city to dismantle an Occupy movement protest camp, moving in early Wednesday with police and bylaw officials to clear out Victoria Park after repeated warnings were given to park protesters to leave.
While that approach stopped the Victoria Park occupation as it entered Day 18, not everyone saw the result the same.
At City Hall, at a news conference hours after the clear-out, Mayor Joe Fontana and London police Chief Brad Duncan urged Londoners to look to the future.
