Al Gore: Panic, for 'climate change' has turned your nightly weather forecast into 'the Book of Revelation!'

One of the very few things that Barack Obama was right about is the fact that the world is in better shape than at almost any time in its history. Yes, we have problems, but things are generally pretty good. Globally, people are healthier, safer, live longer, and have more free time than they ever have before. We're also witnessing a planet where world peace is on the rise, global poverty is on the decline, and starvation is in freefall. In short, it's a good time to be a human being. Of course, there's work to be done and left-wing policies can always drag us backward - just look at Venezuela or the Middle-East - but if you take in the big picture you'll see we're in pretty good shape.

If you’re a climate pimp, you must sell the concept of a world in freefall

...Unless you're Al Gore. If you’re a climate pimp, you must sell the concept of a world in freefall. If people think things are improving, your fear-based lucre will dry up. Everything is awful, everything is going to hell in a handbasket, and all of it has something to do with global warming, cooling, or whatever the "crisis du jour" may be. In fact, it's just like the Book of Revelation. CNN anchors are eating people, for heaven's sake. Man has become man-eater! THE END TIMES ARE UPON US! So sayeth Manbearpig during an interview on ABC's "This Week."

Gore loves this line-- Whenever he wants to put the fire-and-brimstone fear into the populace, he slathers on the apocalyptic lingo

For the record, Gore loves this line. He trots it out all the time. Whenever he wants to put the fire-and-brimstone fear into the populace, he slathers on the apocalyptic lingo. Back in 2013, the book of Revelation made an appearance on the Today show:
Hurricane Sandy and other recent weather-related disasters, like this week’s intense flooding and monstrous sea foam levels in Australia, are a direct result of climate change, former vice president Al Gore said Tuesday. “These storms – it’s like a nature hike through the Book of Revelation on the news every day now,” he told TODAY’s Matt Lauer. “People are connecting the dots.”
Yes, they are indeed connecting the dots. ...And the dots lead back to a multimillionaire ex-VP whose "mansions and private jets" lifestyle leaves a Godzilla-sized carbon footprint. Isn't it funny how God-booing liberals only trot out the Bible when they need to exploit it?
