Alabama Democrat says 99% of Republicans would forcibly abort mixed-race children

Democrats love to say "racism still exists." Every sane Republican admits they're right; racism will never be totally wiped out. However, things are undeniably better than they used to be, and Democrat claims are both self-serving and overblown. The left, of course, constantly promotes the false notion that the GOP is a breeding ground for hateful, ugly, bigots who oppress minorities in a vile quest for power. It's asinine, but it's hard to deny that it's working. The race card has proven a powerful tool with which to corral the country's low-info voters.

Today's example of the far-left racial exploitation game comes to us from Alabama - where lawmakers were debating a bill that would forbid abortion once a fetal heartbeat had been detected. During a heated exchange, State Rep. Alvin Holmes (D) dropped what might be the mother of all race-baiting bombshells on the floor of the state's House.

If you ask the people in here now to raise their hands for those who are against abortion, 99% of all of the white people in here gonna raise their hands that they’re against abortion. On the other hand, 99% of the whites that are sitting in here now - if they’re daughter got pregnant by a black man -they’re gonna make their daughter have an abortion. They ain’t gonna let her have the baby. The truth sometimes hurts. I know it's hard to tell it. 99% of those of you sitting here now, if your daughter got pregnant by a black man, you gonna make her have an abortion. You’re not gonna let her have the baby.

You aren't gonna have no black baby. If she got two other white children, and then she gonna have a little black baby, gonna be running around there in the living room, in the den with the rest of them. They’re not gonna let that happen – you know that and I know that. You will never admit it – you know that and I know that! All this stuff about abortion and this and that – that’s just a con game! That’s for whites, ain’t for blacks!

Wow. This is a man who actually managed to get elected. Can you imagine if a Republican had said that? Can you picture the feeding frenzy in the mainstream media? If this guy had an "R" after his name, the press would present him as the racist, uneducated, stereotypical GOP voter and politician. He would, overnight, be portrayed as the face of the national party. He would be their standard bearer. As it is, he's a Democrat. He's on "their side," so most people will never hear his name. After his little rant, he asked a woman in the chamber (whose identity is unknown) if she would ever allow her daughter to have a mixed-race baby. "Yes," she replied. “Well, I need to commend you then," Holmes said. “There’s not one in 100,000 that would do that.” If Holmes was a little bit smarter, he might realize that he's coming dangerously close to one of the central arguments of the pro-life movement. Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood to "deal" with what she liked to call "mongrel peoples," and her organization continues to do just that. The abortion industry overwhelmingly targets black and mixed-race babies, and Holmes has voted time and again in favor of letting it continue unabated. The supposed "racists" who want to stop the slaughter are trying to save unborn African-Americans from infanticide. In fact, take a look at the most recent data from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. It shows that the city boasted 74,000 abortions in 2012. 42.4% of them were black. Among non-Hispanic black women, there were more babies aborted than born - 31,328 abortions vs. 24,758 births. How dare a bunch of white, racist, pro-life Republicans try to stop that? Democrats like Alvin Holmes don't let the facts get in the way, though. They rely on their constant drum beat of "racism" in order to maintain their stranglehold on power. Holmes has been in office since 1974, and has a long history of making racial waves. Not too long ago he made headlines by calling Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and "Uncle Tom" who had the audacity to marry a white woman. Cry racism, get elected, cry "racism," repeat. The pattern has become painfully obvious. The good news here is that, at the end of the day, Holmes lost his battle. Alabama's House passed the bill in question. You can hear Alvin Holmes below.
