Allan Lanthier: The corporate minimum tax: Just say no to the OECD

Last December, the OECD issued model rules for its 15 per cent global corporate minimum tax — a brutally complex 70-page package that countries around the world are now supposed to enact as part of domestic law. This was followed by a 277-page package last week with commentary and examples that try and explain the rules. This initiative is a disaster in the making, created by unelected bureaucrats at the OECD, with the support and encouragement of wealthy, developed countries such as Canada.
