Although it has already faded from the news, a good example of woke brilliance occurred when Olympic contestant Gwen Berry pulled a t-shirt over her head and turned her back on the U.S. flag during the National Anthem. When I heard about Berry's display of disrespect and ingratitude, I immediately thought of something my Dad said after a supposed friend openly trashed a gift I gave her; a gift that cost every dime I had. Dad said, "If she didn't appreciate the gift, then she didn't deserve it."
Gwen Berry had liberty, freedom and opportunity gifted to her, but she thought no more of those priceless gifts than to publicly trash the nation that gave those gifts to her, and she did it on the world stage while taking advantage of an Olympic opportunity the gift giver provided her with. What she did was the equivalent of spitting on the graves of those who fought and died to preserve the gifts of liberty and freedom.
Moreover, she took the side of socialist Democrats who want to take those precious gifts away from all Americans. "Woke" dupes like Berry, that hate America, are helping socialist Democrats end the constitutional republic and bring back slavery. I say that because socialism is nothing more than state slavery. Is she an idiot, a victim or a Marxist zealot?
Regardless, Gwen Berry is part of the woke generation that was taught by academics to hate white people. The woke generation was taught that white people are responsible for all the evil in the world, and since white people founded the United States, it's evil and unfair. In fact, Marxist took over the education system and used it to teach racial hatred. The idea was to incite hatred of white people and then use that hatred to tear down things that white people created, like the United States.
Furthermore, Marxist academics use false narratives like white privilege and white supremacy to advance hatred of whites and justify the destruction of America. It's really that simple! In reality, they want to destroy the U.S. because it was founded on the constitutional principles of individual liberty and freedom, and those things are socialism killers. I say that because the Constitution empowers people and makes them independent of government and difficult to control. In contrast, socialism is all about absolute control over the masses.
The bad news is that the Marxist education system has turned out multiple generations that are unable to think for themselves. We know them as the woke generation, but "woke" is just another word for indoctrinated or brainwashed. Those who claim to be "woke" think they are smarter than anyone else, but in reality, they are ignorant dupes; the victims of socialist propaganda.
Moreover, some people have been so brainwashed by academia that they actually believe socialism is more humane than capitalism. I had never heard any American make that remark until Democrats started promoting socialist healthcare during the Obama regime. Now, I hear that all the time, and it's total nonsense. If that were true, the socialist governments of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia would be known for their benevolence and humanity. However, both are known for their cruelty and inhumanity.
In addition, everyone who believes the Marxist lie, that socialism is more humane or better than capitalism, has been duped. In the real world, the constitutional government of the United States, a capitalist government founded on Judeo-Christian principles, is the most benevolent and humane in world history. America has endured inhumane and corrupt leaders, politicians and business heads since it's foundation, but those characteristics are in opposition to the characteristics and the spirit of the Constitution. That's why America endured and Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia failed.
I said many times that socialism is a form of slavery, and it attracts sociopaths. In fact, socialism is a magnet for sociopaths. Hitler and Stalin were both socialists, and they were also sociopaths. Their genocidal regimes were responsible for murdering millions upon millions of people. The evils that took place in America pale in comparison. How could anyone think that socialism is more humane than capitalism when history clearly refutes it?
Finally, our rights and individual freedoms are being eroded away before our eyes. Democrat socialists have been trying to take away our right to freedom of speech through their socialist corporations and government agencies, and they are determined to take away our constitutional right to bear arms. The bad news is the Democrats have an army of woke America haters like Gwen Berry to help them destroy the gifts of liberty, freedom and opportunity for all Americans.
In essence, Barry dishonored the veterans who gave everything they had, including their own lives, to preserve priceless gifts that Barry doesn't appreciate. She's ungrateful and therefore undeserving. Anti-American socialists like Gwen Barry should not be on the U.S. Olympic team. She doesn't represent America or the American people. We deserve better. America Deserves Better!
