America’s “Come to Jesus” Moment

I’m hearing all the theories on why FBI Director, James Comey, reopened the investigation on Hilary Clinton’s illegal email server. Rush Limbaugh floated the idea it's a head fake, that Comey will come out a day or two before the election and announce there’s no there-there. Now I know Hillary’s bunch is the gang that can’t shoot straight but I can’t imagine a misfire of this magnitude. Hillary’s poll numbers are plummeting and the media’s having trouble keeping a straight face with their “She’s winning in a landslide” meme or even just “She’s winning” so I find it hard to believe this was the plan. Others are saying it’s a rank and file mutiny, that the agents couldn’t take the fallout from Comey’s betrayal. Might have been a factor but if this were the sole impetus for reopening the case, wouldn’t it have happened sooner? I mean they all knew at the time that Comey sold them out, what took so long?

As for me, I have a different theory. I think James Comey saw the handwriting on the wall, realized that the woman he knows to be at best a criminal, at worst a despot has a real shot at getting into the White House, and that it would be on him. James Comey threw Hillary Clinton a lifeline with his recommendation to not prosecute. He single-handedly enabled her to run for the highest office in the land though he knows she’s not legally qualified to be a postal clerk. Then, with the acquisition of Anthony Weiner’s laptop, Comey was confronted with the overwhelming evidence of Clinton crimes, got a preview of the absolute corruption and criminality associated with the Clintons. Maybe it proved too big a burden and Comey had a “come to Jesus” moment, that point when he had to confront his sins, face up to what he’d done, and decide what he will do to remedy it. That could be why just 11 days before the election, Comey’s back on the national stage only this time he’s not saying “Yes, Maam” to Hillary and her crime syndicate. Instead he’s sent a letter to Congress citing new evidence in the Clinton email scandal that has prompted him to reopen the investigation. Comey cited the 650,000 emails the FBI found on former congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop as cause since Weiner's wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, apparently shared the laptop and is/was Hillary’s closest confidant. The liberals are in a nuclear meltdown over Comey’s letter, he interfered in an election for political reasons, he should be hanged, drawn and quartered or beaten in the public square. Of course these are the very same liberals who erected a virtual monument to Director Comey back in July.

Prior to Comey's infamous press conference, conservatives praised Jim Comey as a pillar of honor and integrity, a paragon of virtue. We were assured that whatever the FBI findings, they would be fair and honest. Then Comey took to the microphone, read off a laundry list of criminal offenses, and publicly took a dive. There would be no recommendation for indictment because no one in their right mind would actually prosecute Hillary for any of those crimes. Liberals had a new hero, James Comey, conservatives had a new enemy, James Comey. Suddenly the meetup between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac had new meaning. The fix was in and FBI Director, James Comey, is part of the cabal. The Presidential campaign moves forward with two major candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Americans know there’s something wrong with this whole scenario, that a woman who’s been under investigation since she got out of diapers shouldn’t be the nominee but her campaign is being driven by unseen powers, a shadow government, a compromised media that proclaims Hillary the inevitable winner weeks before the election. But then just as Americans are losing hope that Hillary Clinton will ever be held accountable for her crimes, help arrives from the FBI, the rank and file who’d been thrown under the bus during Comey’s abdication ceremony. These 21st Century ‘Sons of Liberty’ stepped up to expose the Clinton corruption, to hint at the breathtaking scope and unprecedented criminal activity related to a former Secretary of State. Presumedly these agents confronted Comey and said something’s going to break whether he wants to be part of it or not.

In that scenario, Comey had a stark choice, either he stands with his agents and fights off the corrupt Department of Justice (DOJ), the Clinton Cartel, and the White House or he sinks to the bottomless depths of unprecedented and unparalleled government corruption. I hope Comey’s decision came from a sense of right, that he chose to side with his agents, to spare this country the debacle of a Hillary Clinton Presidency, out of patriotism and a sense of duty. That’s my hope. There are those who still think Comey’s dirty just playing different angles. That he’s still trying to run out the clock, to get Hillary in office so the ruling elite can go about business as usual. Others think it’s too little too late, that the FBI waited until they could look like the good guys by exposing Hillary yet not in time to stop her from being elected. I don’t pretend to know the answers, only Jim Comey knows his heart. But I hope that when Comey’s agents drew the line in the sand, showed the character to stand up for what’s right, that Comey remembered why he went into law enforcement, that he found the courage to defend the rule of law, to fight for justice. But regardless of Comey’s intentions, motives, or actions, we, the American people are now confronted with the facts, that Hillary Clinton is a pathological liar, a woman who believes she is above the law, a pay-to-play crook on the scale of Goodfellas, and a threat to our national security, to our soldiers, our families, to every one protecting or protected by our military secrets. And thanks to WikiLeaks, we know the Clinton Cartel conspires to cheat, skirt the law, rig elections, and work with a co-opted media to deceive the American people. Thanks to James O’Keefe and his Veritas videos, we now know that the Clinton campaign paid to incite violence at Trump rallies and used their media to blame that violence on Trump. We’ve heard firsthand how Democrats commit voter fraud and we’re now privy to the massive scale. So now it’s our turn to confront the truth, to take a hard look at our country’s failures, and to determine America’s path forward. WikiLeaks, Veritas, and the FBI has exposed Hillary Clinton’s insatiable lust for power and money, her willingness to do anything to enrich herself and her cronies. There’s only way to stop her and that’s with our votes. November 8th we go to the polls and vote to right the ship and reverse course, to fix a broken, corrupt system. It’s our chance to face our enemies and right the wrongs, it’s America’s “come to Jesus” moment.
