The often declared mission by some to disprove the existence of God.

An untimely message

British atheists Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens get a lot of ink and media attention for their often declared mission to disprove the existence of God. One can look in vain for even one note of positivity, hope or encouragement in the grim message they obviously feel the world needs.
In a time when people are looking for some light at the end of the tunnel, Dawkins and Hitchens would quench all such hopes with words the fruit of which are despair, hopelessness and a purposeless existance. In a world that is becoming increasingly negative with global threats of war, famine, pestilence, terrorism, and a dozen other dark pictures I could readily mention, it seems the last thing we need is more negativity to add to the misery. Happiness is not a quality one readily associates or observes with atheists. They say misery likes company, and Dawkins, Hitchens and the atheists around the world seem hell-bent to prove it. On the other hand I personally know scores of "people of faith" who live happy, meaningful and purposeful lives as they seek to serve God and humankind. These people not only believe in God, but they believe He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and have proved His faithfulness over many years. I am happy to be counted in their number.
