Demonization of the Jewish State, Anti-Israel graffiti spray-painted on the building housing the Israeli Embassy in Ottawa

Anti-Israel hate-mongering in Ottawa shows true colours of those who refuse to accept Jewish State

TORONTO, May 25, 2011: The anti-Israel graffiti spray-painted on the building housing the Israeli Embassy in Ottawa is a prime example of the type of demonization of the Jewish State that is becoming commonplace, B’nai Brith Canada said in a statement issued today.

“Demonization of Israel is often the response we see to news that renewed peace negotiations could be in the works”, said Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada. “Coming just a day after Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit to Washington DC where he spoke of peace, it is clear once again that however many concessions Israel may be prepared to make, there are those who are clearly not interested in dialogue, but only in public displays of hateful rhetoric.”
