Appreciation or Emasculation of the U.S. Armed Forces?

Appreciation or Emasculation of the U.S. Armed Forces? This past Saturday, American citizens were supposed to honor our men and women in the Armed Services. It is not clear whether much national sentiment was spent on those men and women in service to their country. However, even more egregious than no real remembrance is the insidious destruction of our United States’ military from within by a Marxist instigated “purge” the Biden Administration is orchestrating against patriotic or conservative individuals in our military. So, on a day when America was supposed to be honoring our military, the current Administration is making a concerted effort to weaken it. These are serious times, and the Leftist/Progressives in the federal government are seemingly aligned across the spectrum with defunding the police to emasculating our military forces. Who stands to lose? American citizens stand to lose big time.

No one truly knows how many millions of people Stalin was responsible for murdering during his personal reign of terror

An extreme irony in this entire process is that it is somewhat reminiscent in history of the purge of the leadership in Joseph Stalin’s military in which he eliminated top officers who were identified as threats to the Party leadership. Stalin instigated serious efforts to repress and eliminate his own people suspected of being opponents of the Communist Party in the mid-1930s, especially after the murder of an important Party member in the winter of 1934. Stalin became concerned for his own safety and increased his personal security, and it is reported that he rarely made public appearances. In 1935, Stalin had the NKVD (forerunner of the KGB) to expel suspected those labelled as “counter - revolutionaries” from urban areas. The French in the “Reign of Terror” simply beheaded the ones suspected of being against the revolution. Only later, in the Soviet Union, did the executions begin. Show trials of those who were considered “Western-backed” opponents of the Party were arrested and put into prison. Some were exiled and some were executed for their involvement in “terrorist plots.” These moves “cleansed” the Party of all troublesome elements, and the cleansing extended into the Soviet military as well as out into the general population. There was a period in Soviet history known as the “Great Purge,” or also known as the “Great Terror” after the “Reign of Terror” in French history. Stalin had admired Adolf Hitler's means of removing rivals within the Nazi Party, but he may have perfected the maneuvers. No one truly knows how many millions of people Stalin was responsible for murdering during his personal reign of terror, but it did target all of the “anti-Soviet” elements that could be identified, or anyone opposing Stalin himself. However, prior to the German army invading the Soviet Union, which broke their peace treaty, Stalin had also purged the military. Such gutting of the officers and the top generals, viewed as threats to his regime, left the Red Army with a severe shortage of well-trained officers at the time of Hitler double-crossing Stalin. The purge of the military left the Soviet Union vulnerable to the Nazi blitzkrieg from Poland into Soviet territory.

The Democrats have initiated this effort to destroy the U.S. military from within

Such parallels in history are showing up in this time in this nation. There is no “purge” in an exact similar way, but there is a purge of loyal Americans within our U.S. military following the Marxist-led “insurgency” upon the U.S. Capitol on January 6 of this year. And, if anyone denies it was an “insurrection” by unarmed civilians, those people will be identified as “anti-AmeriKan” because the vision of the Left of the United States is not a view of this nation as a Free Republic. It is a “Democratic” Party, one-Party controlled nation much like California is currently run as a one-Party state. In other words there is no opposition to the Party. This is currently happening within the U.S. military in two ways. The first is the ideological purge of anyone who believes America is exceptional. The second effort is also ideological, but it is the force-feeding of Critical Race Theory upon a highly “captive audience.” The Democrats have initiated this effort to destroy the U.S. military from within. Instead of honoring the men and women in uniform, and the unity of our Armed Forces, the new Democrat tyranny is sowing the seeds of disunion and division within the ranks at all levels. That such efforts are underway at this point, and there appears to be little or no resistance to this concerted effort, our military will be co-opted by Marxist intellectual propaganda and mental manipulation. And, there is no cavalry coming to save them from such an internal disarmament because they are the cavalry and the officers who would have led the cavalry. This is a fairly consistent strategy of the Marxists in the cities who are calling for the defunding and disbanding of the local police departments. If our federal government can emasculate the U.S. military from within, it has the same effect as disbanding the law enforcement officials at the local levels. In essence, the entire month of May should be a month of remembering National Military Appreciation Month. There are actually six different commemorations of our armed services: Loyalty Day, VE Day (the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945), Armed Forces Day, Military Spouses Day and Memorial Day. In 1999, legislation designated May as National Military Appreciation Month. However, what the Biden Administration is doing to the U.S. Armed Forces is borderline treason. He is actually destroying the whole point and purpose of our military. If they are not to be loyal to the nation, and only loyal to one political Party, we are no better than the old Soviet Union.

Another extreme irony regarding our current government’s lack of military appreciation is that another Democrat was the one to foster appreciation for the Armed Forces. From the days of the old Democrat-dominated Jim Crow realm of the Deep South, racial injustice was justified as Democrats had institutionalized racism in their state laws. After the second world war, in which Black soldiers fought bravely for freedom, they became mistreated as they returned to their homes in the segregated South. President Harry Truman learned of some of the individual stories of horrible mistreatment, but he had to fight his own Party to deal with it. He did this by Executive Order since he knew the Southern Democrats in Congress would never vote for such controversial laws. So, on July 26, 1948, Truman signed executive orders 9980 and 9981, thus ending segregation in the federal workforce and in the U.S. Armed Services. Additionally, in this same time, President Truman challenged Congress to reorganize the branches of the military to be more efficient and effective, which resulted in the National Security Act of 1947, which brought four major branches of the U.S. military initially under the National Military Establishment (NME). Additionally, it reorganized the Army Air Corps into a new branch of the U.S. Air Force, and consolidated all of the various holidays supporting each separate branch of the military into one unified holiday honoring all the military branches together, which is how Armed Forces Day came to be. Today, American citizens are witnessing the unravelling of what Harry Truman had done to unify the military. On May 20, 1950, the United States celebrated the first Armed Forces Day. The motto for that first celebration was appropriately termed “Teamed for Defense.” Today, in May of 2021, Joe Biden’s motto may be “Primed for Division.” And if all useful idiots tolerate it, “divided we fall.”
