Angus-based Jonathan Mitchell has a busy few weeks ahead.

This week is the start of Angus Open Studios where Jonathan and 50 other Angus based artists are holding a group, showcase exhibition at 600 year-old Inverquharity Castle. "We had a trial run last weekend in the form of a fundraiser for Dyslexia Scotland," says Jonathan. "There were in excess of 100 guests in attendance. It should be a great event." The show runs until May 26. "This was a huge success last year in terms of footfall and sales," says Jonathan. Then at the start of June Jonathan's group show The Beauty of Landscapes at The Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, Eton runs throughout the month. Web: www.jonathan-mitchell.co.uk
