Dear editor:
Re the vicious attacks on PC leadership candidate Kellie Leitch: What kind of a country are we living in, when a politician can be ripped apart simply for wanting to check immigrants for suitability? When I got here in 1966, I was told that if I showed up at the welfare office or ended up in court, I would be deported. People like me get far more upset over this than native-born Canadians. To those of us who have to live with the results of Harper's and Trudeau’s appalling immigration policies, Leitch is a welcome breath of fresh air.
