AWESOME: Jordanian journalists destroy desk during debate on Libya

All this scene needs is Geraldo getting his nose broken.

The thing that strikes you is that, for all the apparent tension between the combatants, they actually work in quite impressive synchronization to lift the tabletop from the base and wrestle it to its ultimate demise. Perhaps the table is a something of a metaphor for Israel in the Arab world? They don't really agree with each other on much, but they all share the same enemy and however dysfunctional the process might be, they are ultimately willing to pull in the same direction to see it destroyed. Or maybe I'm just reaching for a deeper meaning for shameless click bait. Yep, it's pretty much that. By the way, if anyone can understand what they're saying, by all means enlighten the rest of us. It's not really the point of sharing it, but what the heck? It might be interesting trivia. Here's the summary from the BBC:
Journalists Shaker al-Johari and Mohammad al-Jayousi were debating the conflict on Jordan's Seven Stars programme on Thursday. Al-Jayousi accused al-Johari of supporting the revolution in Syria, and was in turn accused of backing President Bashar al-Assad in exchange for money.
I will say this: Someone needs to teach these guys that chairs are a much more easily wielded weapon for TV talk show combat. You don't need your antagonist's help to lift it, and you can whomp him in the face with yours if you're quick enough. Did someone mention Geraldo?
