Was the nature of the Honourable John Baird's unannounced visitation fulfilling the dictum that Ministers appear before Committees to shield their aides from testifying happenstance or part of an unfolding strategy?
Dimitri Soudas has been subpoenaed. Consistency in application of the pronouncement that henceforth masters will represent their servants would necessitate the Right Honourable Stephen Harper appearing in his stead.
We shall see whether Baird's demeanour was to provide an image setting the stage for Harper's appearance. Sweetness and light from the P.M., the "Good Cop", to be compared to Baird's "Bad Cop" routine.
Naw, must have been just Baird's natural pugnaciousness coming through. Master strategists would never, ever, even consider such transparent tactics. Would they?
