If you think they are going to give your country back without a fight, you’re sadly mistaken. —Steve Bannon

The GOP establishment hasn’t learned much since November,  but looking towards next November, its important to note that moderates do not win elections unless they campaign as conservatives.  If the GOP was built by moderates, the “Party of Reagan” wouldn’t exist.  On Friday morning, prior to Bannon’s departure, Moderate Mitt Romney spouted off yet again, giving more soundbytes to his fellow Democrats. Lest we forget that his father sabotaged Barry Goldwater?

Reagan was the people’s choice, as was Donald Trump.

Establishment republicans funded Obamacare but won elections campaigning as conservatives. Moderates then solidified the government takeover of one sixth of our economy and screwed the new GOP base. The Republican majority can’t even carry 51 votes while they #Resist this Trump presidency like their “friends across the aisle” even though Democrats in the Rust Belt voted against Obamacare and gave Donald Trump the presidency.

Throughout the campaign, I was told by the moderates, the bundlers on corporate jets, media tycoons, 20-something “conservative” pundits, that I was “crazy” to think Trump could win.  On the night of the election, I was told by a jet-set bundler that Trump was going to lose and that it had already been decided.

If the country depended on the strategy of Ana! Navarro to give us a nominee, Hillary Clinton would have turned the Supreme Court into the 9th Circuit. The Bannon strategy of “economic populism” gave us Trump Democrats and the Rust Belt.  Call it Populism or Nationalism, I call it winning.

Sixty-three million Americans win national elections.  Moderates do not.  On a smaller scale, this moderate and establishment sabotage is similar to what I had witnessed living in Orange County, California when Tom McClintock ran for governor and the moderates chose Arnold Schwarzenegger as the nominee—marking the end of the CA GOP.  Needless to say, this tweet from President Trump gives me pause:

First question, who exactly are these “influential” CA GOPers and what have they won lately? Orange County, once known as a GOP stronghold, turned blue last election. Moderate CA republicans just sided with Jerry Brown and raised taxes. A moderate Republican by the name of Abe Maldonado can be directly credited for the passage of Prop 14, which destroyed the two party primary system and gave Democrats a super majority.

Simply put,  if the CA GOP has any influence to “moderate” this administration, the country is screwed.

Which is why Steve Bannon’s exit may come at the perfect time.  2018 elections are right around the corner and 63 million Americans need a MOAB dropped in the swamp. Bannon is the bomb thrower with a powerful platform who knows the enemy.

Bomb throwers are vital in politics because they keep people and parties honest.  Bomb throwers aren’t Willy Lomans.  Bomb throwers don’t desire popularity. Bomb throwers desire results.

The parting words of “Bannon the Barbarian” to the Weekly Standard:

“Now I’m free. I’ve got my hands back on my weapons. I am definitely going to crush the opposition. There’s no doubt. I built a f***ing machine at Breitbart. And now I’m about to go back, knowing what I know, and we’re about to rev that machine up. And rev it up we will do.”

“The Democrats, the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”

Rev it up and go get ‘em, Steve. Sixty-three million people are counting on it. #WAR
