BELOW THE RADAR (Editor’s Note): The following ‘Below the Radar’ gem can be found in the ‘Impact With Sam Clovis’ Newsletter, and it’s only one! Clovis, who served as co-chair of Donald Trump’s Campaign in the 2016 presidential election, and went on to be nominated by President Trump as Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education and Economics in the United States Department of Agriculture, before returning to his home in Iowa, is as close to being the 21st Century ‘Mr. Smith Goes To Washington’ as it gets. Sam's first-hand experience as a targeted enemy of the Deep State is destined to be a patriot lifeline, shared in both his Impact News Letter and in the Sunday, Sept. 30th return of his popular radio show which drew thousands of listeners before he went off to Washington. Sam’s back with a 2-hour internet radio show on LATalkRadio.com 9/30 (3 to 5 p.m., Central Time), talking truth to power and telling it as exactly as it is. Better update your resumes, all hidden members of the Deep State, because patriots will be sending up the rousing cheer: “Go, Sam Clovis, Go!"

Some of the worst enemies of the administration are already in the administration

This section will be used to alert readers to situations and circumstances that might not be covered in the media as extensively as other dominating stories might be. And today, there is a very critical situation that should concern all Americans, especially those who support the President. Recently, I had a close confidant of the President related to me a story. It seems the President had walked through the West Wing of the White House to say hello to the staff. He is known to do this regularly, as it is his way of providing a morale boost to the troops. When he returned to his office, however, he realized that he had not recognized a single individual working in those spaces. In other words, he had no known supporters working in close proximity to him in the White House. Why is this important? It is important because those who are closest to the President may not be Trump supporters. I have long been suspicious that those who have had the most influence on personnel decisions for the administration have been systematically moving Trump supporters further away from the President or out of the administration altogether. Further, those who are left to do the bidding of the President seem more concerned about bad headlines than they are with getting the job done. This is probably why there have been so many leaks to the press from those who should be the strongest advocates of the Trump agenda.

Media will torpedo a Republican in a heartbeat

I wonder when Republicans who work in DC will figure out that the media are not our friends. They will torpedo a Republican in a heartbeat, especially if that individual is thought to be a supporter of the President. The campaign did not do a good job getting ready for transition. Thus, when Candidate Trump became President-elect Trump, those closest to the President were not ready to build out the 4K political appointees that would be needed. Instead, the campaign had to rely on establishment Republicans to find enough resumes to staff the administration early on. The Heritage Foundation had on file some 7K resumes for consideration. Many of those in the Heritage binders were Never-Trumpers (and have remained so to this day). Yet, these individuals have insinuated themselves into the most powerful positions throughout the various departments and agencies in the Executive Branch. Many of us who support the President have been raising Cain about this, and it appears that the President and his folks are finally starting to recognize that some of the worst enemies of the administration are already in the administration. The President needs to clean house and start over. The short term pain would be worth the long term gain.
