Maher's sick of high taxes. Poor baby...

Bill Maher: Liberals ‘could lose me’ over high taxes

Usually, when Bill Maher is impacted by liberalism, it makes him spout racist, misogynist, one-liners that he passes off as "jokes." However, all is not well in Maher's lefty-land. Progressives are taking too much of his money in taxes, and he's not pleased.
Recently, his show featured MSNBC statist Rachel Maddow, who went on a fist-pounding rant targeting Paul Ryan's budget. "The Ryan budget is a document that says the big problems in America right now are that rich people do not have enough money," Maddow yelled. "They need relief from confiscatory tax rates, and poor people have too much access to affordable health care." She then attacked military spending and waited for Bill Maher to agree with her. ...and that didn't really happen. Maher's made a lot of cash from peddling his far-left shtick, and apparently he's sick of letting big-government liberals take it away from him.

"Rich people actually do pay the freight in this country," Maher said. "I just saw the statistics. It's something like 70%. And here in California - I just want to say, Liberals, you could actually lose me. It's outrageous what we're paying. Over 50%. I'm willing to pay my fair share, but yeah. I mean, it's ridiculous." It looks like the Marxist policies that Maher supports on a daily basis have finally come around, cut into his bottom line, and he doesn't like it one bit. All the other rich people can pay whatever the liberals demand, but once it starts to effect Maher's bank account, he's got a problem. Hypocrisy on full display. By the way, the best thing about this video may be the look on Maddow's face when she realizes Maher isn't on board with her hissy fit. Priceless.
