Black Conservative vs 'Hood Dude

I've just become aware of the viral in-person exchange between online conservative commentator Anton Daniels, ironically on the left in this picture and 'hood influencer Corey Holcomb across from him.

Review of profane, near pugilistic footage rewarded me with a clip I can post complete with bleeped out cursing and racial slurs:

I regularly watch Anton Daniels. We differ on some key issues but agree on community safety and civility.

Holcomb on the other hand isn't someone whose content I consume. This confrontation showed that I wasn't missing much.

Even where I agreed with him, Corey Holcomb cancelled concurrence with continual cursing and 'N word' usage along with textbook non-verbal menacing I call 'street theatre.'

He kept threatening Daniels and as tensions rose, sat facing him in an attempt to be physically intimidating, an attitude I've witnessed for a lifetime.

Their near-altercation was instructive by showing irreconcilable differences between two Black community segments for outsiders who think we're a monolith.

We're not.

This was a study in stark contrasts: a Black conservative vs a 'hood dude.

Fortunately, they didn't add to the Black male attrition rate by fighting or worse.

By the way, I'm not an 'afro romanticist' who thinks Brothers should hug and overlook irreconcilable differences.

I just think most community conflicts ultimately waste time and sadly, lives, in some cases, a conclusion shared below by the conservative commentator in that flareup:
