TORONTO, – B’nai Brith Canada has written to the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, the Honourable James Moore commending him for his undertaking to investigate the blog postings allegedly made by his adviser Monzer Zimmo.
Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada wrote, “The postings in question include anti-Israel statements, 9/11 conspiracy theories and statements applauding the terrorist activities of Hamas. As a victim of these posts, in which he calls our organization a hate group, we find the statements unacceptable and deserving of condemnation.
If this investigation confirms that Mr. Monzer Zimmo is responsible for these postings and that they were in fact done on government time using government facilities as is alleged, we expect that he would be dismissed from his position forthwith.”
