TORONTO, – B'nai Brith Canada has denounced the partnership between Fatah and the terrorist organization Hamas announced following the meeting yesterday of their leadership.
Frank Dimant, CEO of B'nai Brith Canada, "That the two leaders, one heading a terrorist organization, can announce that there is now no differences between them, is cause for grave concern. Given that Hamas continues to refuse to recognize Israel, the prospect for any lasting peace is seriously threatened.
Dimant continued, "A terrorist state has no place among the nations of the world. We call on our Canadian Government to continue to work to ensure that terrorist states have no place at the United Nations or its agencies or elsewhere on the world stage."
