In what jurisprudence is it demanded that armed human targets passively permit themselves to be beaten to death?

I've said for decades that the surest measure of whether the system recognizes your human right of self-defense is if it'll punish you for 'daring' to defend yourself. At this stage of the case' evolution, it's morbidly clear local authorities don't recognize the victim’s humanity.
