Obama's calamitous management of the nation’s economy

But He Can’t Fire Soros

We’ve tried 19 months of government-as-community organizer. It hasn’t worked. Our fresh start needs to begin now. -John Boehner

House minority leader, John Boehner, called out the community-organizer-in-chief for his calamitous management of the nation’s economy.
I have had enough – and the American people have had enough – of Washington politicians talking about wanting to create jobs as a ploy to get themselves re-elected while doing everything possible to prevent jobs from being created.
Not that the moribund media would tell you, but Boehner delivered his remarks at a speech before the City Club of Cleveland. Noting the current administration’s highly effective War on Jobs, Boehner reflected on Obama’s recent visit to Ohio while a few blocks away, Ohioans were standing in line at a job fair, waiting to be told that companies are not hiring.
They’re frozen. Or, as the organizer of the job fair put it, employers are – and I’m quoting now – ‘scared to death.’
Boehner correctly pointed out that the threat of a lame duck session in which Democrats can ram through more onerous legislation will crush the remaining life out of American businesses. The horrific card check bill is not quite dead yet. The Orwellian named Employee Free Choice Act would only increase the power of union bosses at the expense of small business. Boehner also called for the resignations of Tim Geithner and Larry Summers, suggesting that Obama’s team lacks actual work experience. Actually, Obama himself did have a real job once. He embezzled from his employer.
The funny thing was: his high school classmates were telling that me that a young Barry Obama used to scoop ice cream at Baskin-Robbins. They said on the side, he used to slip them some free ice cream and frozen yogurt. I sort of have coaxed it out of them because they didn’t want to acknowledge it first. And I said, look, ‘the statute of limitations is past, it’s been 30 years now. They laughed and said, ‘OK, he gave us free ice cream.’
The loss of Geithner would be especially poignant for the president. They go back a long way. Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, worked for Geithner ‘s father, Peter Geithner, at the Ford Foundation in Indonesia, developing the Foundation’s microfinance program. Obama can certainly do away with Geithner and Summers, but the real problem is Obama’s boss, unrepentant Nazi collaborator, George Soros, whose agenda is being forced on an unwilling public. Granted, Obama is light on actual job experience, but even he should realize you can’t fire your boss.
