California’s Big Ooops!

Earlier this year, CFP published an article which questioned whether or not America and Canada had the electrical infrastructure to support the coming influx of electric vehicles. Thanks to California, the state which has been advocating the hardest for the conversion to electrical vehicles, we have an answer to those concerns. No, there isn’t the infrastructure to support future electric vehicles. As a matter of fact, California doesn’t have the electrical infrastructure to support the electric vehicles they already have operating. Are you paying attention North America? This week, California Governor Gavin Newsome is begging the owners of electric vehicles not to recharge their electric vehicles because California doesn’t have enough electrical capacity. The Governor is blaming the current crisis on the current multi-year California draught, which is certainly a contributing factor. However, the primary cause is the California Marxist government that has been instituting policies to restrict electrical generation only to “renewable energy sources.”

California and Texas are currently demonstrating the need to immediately fire up America’s coal, oil, and gas fueled electric power plants

For decades reasonable energy professionals have been warning California and all of North America, that relying only on renewable energy was a recipe for disaster. California was warned that shutting down carbon and nuclear fueled power plants would result in exactly what is happening in California in the summer of 2021. This past winter provided another vivid demonstration of the flaws associated with the failure of wind and solar power in Texas. How can the message be any clearer? Someday wind and solar technology may be what is being dreamed about by the greenies. In 2021, it ain’t here yet! California and Texas are currently demonstrating the need to immediately fire up America’s coal, oil, and gas fueled electric power plants. The message is also clear that North America needs to restart and expand nuclear power plants, which is the most cost effective way possible to generate electrical energy with current technology. There is a secondary message that North America needs to understand. The “Green New Deal” the Marxist government officials are trying to foist on North America and the world has many, many unintended consequences. The California and Texas situations are just the most clearly visible. Too many people will look at these things and suggest these are accidental unintended consequences of well-intentioned people. That is an easy, polite, and very naïve way to excuse what we see happening. These “well-intentioned” people are being placed in the positions they are in by big money Marxist global elitists whose goal is the destruction of America as we know it and the establishment of a new Marxist world order. How long will California voters continue to accept brown outs, rolling black outs, and total blackouts before they throw the bums out? Replace your gas burner with the latest electric vehicle was California’s mantra. Ooops! Sorry, the Governor says you can’t charge it! Keep doing what you’re doing, California, and you’ll keep getting what you got!
