“Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina Congressman Jim Clyburn says something is seriously wrong with Alvin Greene's win in the Democratic Senate Primary race, and he believes outside forces may be to blame. “Sunday, Clyburn (D-6th District) told CNN he noticed problems in his own primary contest against Gregory Brown. Clyburn easily bested his opponent, garnering 90 percent of the vote. "I know a Democratic pattern, I know a Republican pattern, and I saw in the Democratic primary elephant dung all over the place," Clyburn said.”For the politically isolated, “elephant dung” is Clyburn’s inelegant way of blaming the Republican Party for the incompetence of the Democrat Party. Rather than blaming innocent Republicans, Representative Clyburn, the more urgent priority for you and other prominent Democrats should be to explain why your party was unable to advance a reasonable and viable candidate? Or is an unemployed felony suspect the best that the Democrat Party can offer? Alvin Greene’s victory sparks the following question in advance of the November elections: Can Elephant Dung save America? If so, bring it on!

John W. Lillpop is a recovering liberal. “Clean and sober” since 1992 when last he voted for a Democrat. For years, John lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, the very liberal sanctuary city which protects, rather than prosecutes, certain favored criminals.
