Canada just opened a NATO-accredited jet school in North Bay

Ottawa will spend up to $389 million training Ukrainian aircrew.
The school itself is getting a $50 million expansion.

Hawk jet trainers retired in 2024. 419 Squadron boxed up. No replacement in Canada until the 2030s.

So CAF fighter pilots finish on turboprops at Moose Jaw, then fly to Texas and Italy.

Allies get jets over North Bay. Canadians get a plane ticket.

That is not burden-sharing. That is a country that outsourced its own air force.
