Cap & Trade (Trap & Pay)

Hello, as you will note I am not a writer nor a politician or some other crazy activists. I am just a normal citizen who happens to be a grand and great grand father exercising a voice of concern. I have written to other outlets concerning the, Cap & Trade bill to which I have labeled it, Trap & Pay. At my age I wouldn't expect to have this stupid idea to affect my status as much as it will the grand and great grand kids. While I cannot deny that some human activities may in some way be contributing to the so called global warming issue.

I cannot in all good sense support such a stupid idea without asking several questions. First, who really stands to get rich from this bill? Second, how do we get every nation to participate equally? As you can understand we have yet to receive a good answer for just the first two questions. Now I would like to pose another question, that while it may seem dumb it has a great deal to do with our climate. The question I asked my representatives to think about while considering their vote for this bill was, "Who will pay under this bill or any other bill when a Volcano blows its top and spews out all kinds of pollution"? If this bill was in existence today, would we be charging the financially strapped country of Iceland to pay for the recent Volcano eruption? We need to engage our brains by using a little common sense and not trap our future children into paying to those who would benefit from such a scheme. Thank you for time to this matter.
