Case for the Electoral College System

Last week I took a sojourn to the Left Coast state of my birth, California, for a gathering of old high school chums. As I crossed from Nevada into California, I first noticed that the State of California no longer enforces agricultural products inspection at the state border. I then noticed that speed limit signs were totally ignored by the natives and anyone else not wishing to get run over on the highways. It really blew me away when the speed limit plus 20 or 25 mph, even in a posted construction zone, was the reality. It was about that time when my right hand flew up and soundly whacked me in the forehead. What am I thinking? Law enforcement, in general, is no longer a cultural value in California.

California is a prime example of what happens in a pure democracy

As I was cruising down hill on the west side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains toward Sacramento, it occurred to me that California is once again a bellwether state, not in a good way as it was when I grew up there, but in a bad way. California is a prime example of what happens in a pure democracy. You know, like when five wolves and one lamb are voting on what’s for dinner! The major population centers of California are in total control of what happens within the state. This is just as true in all of the failing Blue States across America. And more to the point, is the fact that this is a microcosm of what the communist government of Joe Biden’s Democrat Party is trying to inflict on the rest of America.

Fact: There are 3,243 counties in America. Fact: The majority of the American population lives in only 146 counties. Do you see where there just might be a problem? Keep in mind the majority of those people think milk and eggs come from a carton, electricity comes from the wall, EVs are emissions free and most know little or nothing about history, science, geography, or world affairs. Also please keep in mind that out of those 146 counties, 21 counties are in the failing Left Coast states of California (16), Oregon (2), and Washington (3). The majority of counties in these failing western states have had initiatives to try to sever relations by the rural counties.

In California, there is a movement to become the State of Jefferson. In Oregon and Washington, there is a movement to become part of a Greater Idaho.

Until 2020 the United States of America had the Electoral College to protect the Presidency from mob rule for a very good reason, but even that failed with the massive cheating that Biden told us about in October of 2020. What are the chances for 2024? Your guess is as good as mine.

However, to keep the majority from running over the minority in America a few things need to happen. End wholesale cheating in elections, and let the Electoral system work. Repeal the 17^th Amendment and restore the original process for electing U.S. Senators. Each state should establish an electoral system of election for all statewide administrative offices and judges where they are elected statewide.

California is the perfect example where an ignorant population has destroyed that which once was the breadbasket of America and the world with cult-like false science. Ignorant policies dreamed up by the unknowing and sold to the masses has ruined the most productive state in the union.

California is now the bellwether state for all the potential ugliness humans can inflict on each other

The bellwether state that once led the world in food production, education, and industrial and economic progress is now simply a failing third world country with their citizens crapping in the streets, dying from drugs, and living anywhere they please with absolutely no civilized consideration or respect for their fellow citizens. California is now the bellwether state for all the potential ugliness humans can inflict on each other.

California thinks they don’t have the money to take care of their needy citizens, but they will take money from people who never owned a slave and give that money to people who were never slaves. They say majority rules! It has been said that 3% of the population of California has already fled the state at an accelerating rate. Do you question that? Check out what it cost to get a rental truck or trailer leaving California compared to the cost to take one into California.

Sadly, a communistic form of democracy is alive and well in the once Golden State, the third world like State of California. The majority of the minority 3,097 counties in America don’t want to be Californicated, not even the counties in California. Thanks, but no thanks!
