Hip-hip Hooray! The whole world has a cause for celebration, but particularly the citizens of the United States, Israel, Argentina and France. These are the nations whose citizens, diplomats and soldiers became the majority of vicitims of Imad Mughniyeh's reign of terror. Imad Mughniyeh was an agent of terror for the Islamic Republic of Iran as much as the Hezbollah terrorist organization is a forward deployed, Lebanon-based wing of Iranian military forces. Mughniyeh served as Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General and military commander. This rank facilitated Mughniyeh's direct contact with Iranian President Mahmud Ahmai-Nejad and Syrian President Bashar Assad during a terror summit in Damascus and Tehran last year. Reports from the Middle East also say that Hajj Hussein Khalil, Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General for political affairs, was killed in the blast with Mughniyeh. Debka.com also is reporting that Mughniyeh enjoyed "the complete personal trust of both Iranian supreme ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and al-Qaeda's Osama bin Laden. In recent years he has liaised between them. His death is a blow to both.
