I would like to welcome you all back to Miz Judi’s Kitchen. I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy. You know, it seems like when you buy something that doesn’t cost a whole lot you can keep up with it forever.

But on the other hand, if you buy something that costs quite a bit of money, it seems like you just can’t keep up with it. Myself personally, that’s not how I am, but in regards to another member of our household, this statement fits him to a tee! Now with that being said, as Dub has gotten older he needs to wear glasses, and I’m in the same boat there. Well, we went to see the Eye Doctor, and we got a pair of glasses. If my memory is serving me correctly this morning, we paid almost $700 for those glasses of his. I told him, “Dub, are you sure you want to pay that much? Do you think you’ll be able to keep up with them?” He answered me at the time, with his normal I’m aggravated you’d ask such a thing, grunt! So, I let it be. Well, he had them almost 2 WHOLE weeks, and you guessed it, he lost them! This would be about 3 years ago. So what does he do? The man goes out and gets a cheap pair once again. These probably set Mr. Vanderbilt back I’m guessing in the 5 to 6 buck neighborhood…tops! That darn man can keep up with them things, no sweat! Now Dub had a heart attack about 3 years ago, and thank God he’s doing just fine now. Better now than he’s ever been, and honestly this really never fazed him. More...

Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
