CHEO staff oppose wage cut in hospital's infection plan

A group of employees at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa are upset about a wage cut built into a plan to control infections at the hospital.

The 87 patient service assistants (PSAs) are to meet with the hospital's senior management Monday night to discuss a proposal to have each employee do only housekeeping, only portering or only assisting nurses instead of all three as they currently do.---More...
