Donald Trump moved to deploy the National Guard to back ICE amid Chicago’s crime and immigration meltdown.

J.B. Pritzker sued — and SCOTUS blocked the Guard. Pritzker pops champagne, calls it a “win for democracy.”

Here’s the twist they didn’t think through.

Fox News legal heavyweight John Yoo says the ruling actually opens the door to ACTIVE-DUTY federal troops — Marines, Army — under the Insurrection Act.

State Guard? Off the table.

Translation: Pritzker may have just upgraded the response from Guard support to full federal authority — fewer local constraints, clearer command, faster action.

This isn’t a win for Pritzker, It’s an escalation.

Law & order has a legal lane. The Constitution provides it.

This fight isn’t over.
