Today I am going to do a real simple recipe. It's called "chicken in a bag." A lot of you may have already eaten this before, but if not, I say give it a try.

You can put basically anything you like in it to make a full meal. This is a very easy to make and is economical too. There's hardly any mess involved. Our children loved this dish when I made it, I believe yours will as well. Actually we all loved it, it's really good! Hope you enjoy it, and until next time... Keep a smile on your face, and one in your heart. May God Bless each and every one of you.

Chicken in a Bag:

  • 1 cut-up chicken
  • 4 cups cut-up vegetables (You can literally use any vegetables you like..."drag it thru the garden!")
  • 1 package of McCormick Bag-N-Season (Has this recipe on back...don't tell Dub)
Preheat oven to 350. Lay bag in a 13x9 inch baking pan. Layout chicken and sprinkle seasoning mix evenly over chicken, saving some for vegetables. Place chicken parts in bag, keeping chicken in a single layer. Add vegetables and sprinkle remaining seasoning over both vegetables and chicken to use seasoning up. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape. Bake in lower half of oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Cut bag open and serve chicken and vegetables, spooning pan juices over both.

Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
