CHRISTMAS IN THE AIR
When December days turn dark
and bleak
and the snow begins to fly
and the icy winds howl over
hills and dells,
when the sunshine almost freezes
in the frigid northern sky,
I can always hear the sound of
jingle bells.
When winter's here and spring's
far off
and the land’s asleep beneath
the snow,
I dream of sparkling Christmas
Trees, carolers and mistletoe.
When Santa makes his yearly
round
from silent farm to noisy mall,
I look forward to that joyful sound:
"A Merry Christmas! One and All."
