Călin Georgescu is the most popular political figure in Romania and one of the bravest and wisest politicians in the world. This fall he ran for president on a platform against “war, technocracy and debt” and would have won, until the Biden administration pushed to cancel the election and have him arrested as a Russian agent.

We don’t usually praise politicians. Most of them are among society’s least impressive people. They lie, manipulate, and most of the time, create absolutely nothing.



Călin Georgescu is an exception. The Romanian agriculturalist is among the wisest political leaders in the world, rising to intense popularity on a platform opposing war, technology, and debt. His country’s establishment hates him for it.

Earlier this year, Romania’s ruling elite banned Georgescu from running for president despite his victory in the election’s opening round. They accused him of being a Russian agent and “inciting actions against the constitutional order," whatever that means.

If that sounds like an attack on democracy to you, it’s because it was. And you won’t be surprised to learn that the Biden administration was behind it. Today, Georgescu joins The Tucker Carlson Show to shine a light on this story and reveal how it’s a cautionary tale for the rest of the West. 

Călin Georgescu tells Tucker:

“The second round of [Romania’s] election was illegally and unconstitutionally canceled. They stole the vote. And they accused me, as I said, they falsely accused me of Russian interference. Of course, there is no evidence… There is no evidence at all.”
