BALTIMORE - The Coast Guard along with Good Samaritans and state and local agencies rescued four people after their boat capsized in the West River, Wednesday.

Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watch standers received a distress call via marine-band radio from a Good Samaritan reporting a capsized vessel with several people and a dog clinging to the hull in the mouth of the West River. A 25-foot rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis, Md., along with crews from Maryland Natural Resources Police, Anne Arundel County Fire Rescue and several Good Samaritans assisted in the rescue of three adults, one child and a dog.
