Credit Union CEO Fired So Canadian Snowflakes Aren’t Offended

Here’s what I suggest: any rational people doing business with Family First Credit Union in Saginaw, Michigan, should stop immediately;

Oh, Canada, could you please calm down regarding the United States and its people? It's clear that your prime minister has been stirring up tension about the U.S., and many of you seem to be buying into it.

He constantly screams about Canada being a sovereign nation and labels the U.S. as a threat, yet he cozies up to the EU and even China, promoting what he refers to as a "New World Order." If Canadian citizens can't recognize the trickery Carney is attempting, then honestly, they deserve the leadership they get.

I want to address Canadian citizens: You may not hear this from mainstream media in the United States, and you definitely won't hear it from the controlled media in Canada, but American citizens' attitudes toward Canada are also changing. Carney is not only succeeding in alienating Canadian citizens from Americans, but he is also fostering a sense of alienation among U.S. citizens toward Canada.

Of course, not everyone in Canada hates the U.S., and not everyone in the States hates Canada. On our side of the border, Democrats and leftists who like Carney are suffering from TDS are still trying to protect the snowflakes north of the border from having their fragile sensibilities bruised.

Believe it or not, Family First Credit Union in Saginaw, Michigan, announced on Friday, September 28, that Jane Smith, the chief executive officer, is no longer employed by the company. This decision came after she posted a photo of herself and her family wearing "Lake America" sweatshirts.

Here’s the best part. The sweatshirts were photoshopped onto the picture. Neither she nor her family ever actually wore the sweatshirts.

In an interview with WJRT, the ABC affiliate in Flint-Saginaw, Smith said:

    "We weren't trying to make a political statement. However, we were, you know, kind of poking fun at the fact that you know one of the Great Lakes' names were getting changed. I am not a person that would ever want to offend or hurt anybody. I do regret having any post that would make someone feel like we don't value them as human beings.”

Smith says that she and her family, who were leaving for a 10-day trip to Nova Scotia, took a photo together and submitted it to ChatGPT, an AI chatbot created by OpenAI.

In a statement on Facebook, the credit union said:

    “We sincerely apologize for the concern, disappointment, and pain this situation has caused our members and community. We understand that members of our community may hold different perspectives about this decision. Our responsibility is to act in the best interest of the Credit Union, uphold the trust of our members, and continue putting our community first.”

Concern, disappointment, and pain—oh, come on. Translation: You reacted like a fool and either bowed down to some loudmouthed imbeciles or were afraid that some idiot would complain about some sweatshirts.

If anyone complained, why didn’t you laugh at them and explain that nothing was meant by it? Why didn’t you make anyone who complained realize that they were the problem, not an innocent picture?

Instead, you reacted just like one of the lunatics you are claiming to protect. You fired someone over nothing, and you should be ashamed.

Here’s what I suggest: any rational people doing business with Family First Credit Union in Saginaw, Michigan, should stop immediately.

I also suggest you do it in person, while wearing a “Lake America” shirt.
