Fear in the early attacks on Cruz and Walker: Ted Cruz scares them. Scott Walker makes the Left wet their pants

‘Cruz-in with Ted

Now that the presidential pool has been disturbed by a cannonball off a ten meter diving platform, we can all get excited about the fact that Republicans, Libertarians, TeaParty patriots , and even so-called moderates (whatever that means other than someone who has no convictions) can start the vetting process.

One way to really determine a candidate’s appeal to conservatives is to watch the reaction from the Left. The first salvo actually came before the announcement at Liberty University. California Governor (and possible Democratic presidential contender) Jerry Brown ripped Cruz on Meet the Press. And before the sound waves had all but stopped echoing from Cruz’s 2700 word speech (with pause for thunderous applause), ad mogul Donny Deutsch intoned on MSNBC: He is Sarah Palin," Deutsch said. "He is theater. He is completely unelectable." Rather than depressing conservatives, such attacks simply show the level of fear from the Left—fear that is also deeply imbedded in the DNA of many liberals who realize that their coronation of Hillary will place in front of America a deeply flawed candidate. Let’s face facts, two of the most vocal Democrat apologists couldn’t answer Bill O’Reilly’s question, “What has she accomplished?” You can also see the fear in the early attacks on Scott Walker, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio. However, when you want to know which candidate(s) the Left thinks will be easy to defeat, they often praise him or her. Jeb Bush is by no means a darling of conservatives or for that matter many independents. But aside from bad press from Limbaugh, Drudge, and others, Jeb gets some glowing reviews from the liberal media. Ted Cruz scares them. Scott Walker makes the Left wet their pants. But it doesn’t matter deep down what the Left thinks or does—because 2016 will be different. After 7+ years of the mistake in the White House, America is ready for something new, better, proven. That isn’t Hilly Clinton. It could be Ted Cruz. Or Scott walker. Or Rubio, Perry, Paul…but once the primary dust settles whoever ascends to the nomination for the Republican Party must have the support of all shades of conservatives and libertarians – and win in 2016--otherwise America will be well past its expiration date.
