Welcome back to Miz Judi’s Kitchen. I hope all are doing well today. Thank you for coming back to visit with us once again!
It is such a beautiful day! The sun is out, the birds are singing, it’s just good to be outside! This is doubly good especially after the day we had with Dub and his computer. Oh, Lordy.
As you know ole Dub’s computer crashed, and Mr. Don’t Like Change, was fit to be tied! That man just about drove me and Mark crazy. Obama never stood a chance of getting Dub’s vote, not the way he was always throwing around his promise of change!
Now trying to show him how to work off my laptop until we could get him another computer was, well less just say that was a job in itself! I’m in the firm belief you guys don’t want to know how I really described his antics…a mere bar ‘a soap wouldn’t have done the job, okay?
Dub has three e-mails that he keeps a check on, alright? Well, come to find out…the man didn’t have the first password written down, he just stays logged in.
You might know all his e-mails are in my name, so guess who had to stay on the phone all day to reset all his e-mails with new passwords? Oh yea, yours truly! This all taking place while he’s in the background steady saying, “Ask them this, ask them that”… I will tell you one thing, if Mark hadn’t got him up and running when he did… one of us was fixing to go to the hospital, and
I can tell you this, it wasn’t about to be me!
Cheyenne Saves the Day:
He had bought himself a video camera the week before, so when Mark was setting up his new computer, he takes off and starts taking video. He was out there riding around with Cheyenne on the gator, and just a having him a good old time, now that he had made me so darn mad with him.
I was out sweeping the porch and here he comes, videoing me and talking on the video he was filming, about how he had caught me working! When I turned around, he knew he’d better go the other way! Then he goes off videoing the garden spot, Mr. Victory Garden himself, and wasn’t paying any mind to Cheyenne!
Well he’s a videoing away, talking to himself as if he had an audience “on the set,” and Cheyenne was having herself a good ole’ time just a wallerin’ in a pile of cow manure! I thought ok buster, after the day I’ve had you…you can bathe her tonight!
But really, you guys should have seen her, she was absolutely having herself a ball! I couldn’t help myself either though! Man, she was on her back, just a twisting and turning with them legs straight up in the air, and I couldn’t take the pressure, I laughed until I thought my sides would burst! Our little girl Cheyenne had saved my day…and probably Dub’s life!
Well he’s up and running now, and let me tell you, he is just like a kid in a toy store.

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!
Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end. But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.
Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.
Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
