Delta flight returns to Hobby Airport due to 'unruly' passenger; one detained

Authorities at Houston's William P. Hobby Airport are working to find out what happened on a Delta Airlines flight early Wednesday morning when the cockpit was reportedly breached.

Still, Delta Airlines confirmed with Chron that on a plane that departed for Atlanta a little before 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a passenger began "exhibiting unruly and unlawful behavior" toward other passengers on the flight. Further details about the incident were not shared. However, FOX 26 Houston reported that the passenger may have been experiencing a mental breakdown.

The plane was forced to return to Hobby after an emergency declaration, and law enforcement was called.
