As Biblically admonished believers, we don’t stand around and wring our hands, puzzled and bewildered, asking why. We know why the left gathers against faith and churches. We know the source of their inspiration.
We know that their source is not a little red-faced demon whispering temptations in their ears while perched on their shoulder. But rather, he is a powerful covering angel who holds temporary power over the entire world.
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Cor 4:4)
He does not just do demon tricks for the rank-and-file sinners, but he is in charge of the evil on a much grander scale. In fact, he is in charge of leaders, kings, and kingdoms across the globe.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph 6:12)
Wrestle?
Many Christians just follow the world and choose to declare the usual “Religion and politics don’t mix”—all the while their enemy knows that religion and politics are, and have always been, connected at the hip. All persecution and resistance to God, His kingdom, and His people has come directly through civil and political leaders—it is history.
