Dems aren't angry over Roe, they're livid about lost control

Dems aren't angry over Roe, they're livid about lost controlThese last weeks have been a tour de force of common sense over political theory and ideology – note that science has and had nothing to do with the squalling of crybaby liberals about the so-called loss of "choice." Reaction attributed to the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Clinic decision has served as the catch-all excuse for violence against pro-life activists, pregnancy centers and conservatives in general but it's not what has caused the barbarous fascists (aka Antifa, BLM, et al) to become unglued. It's the crumbling of their reign of terror induced by elected (some fraudulently seated) legislators and appointed autocrats that has them shooting up neighborhoods and burning down buildings. The frenzied screaming and rioting is a tantrum, and a murderous one at that.

Dobbs sent crucial lawmaking back to the individual states where it belongs

Dobbs sent crucial lawmaking back to the individual states where it belongs, stripping the federal apparatus of its improperly acquired authority. Incensed mobs are being spurred by self-appointed "leaders" to inflict pain and suffering on the rest of the public because they aren't being coddled by the majority who won't abide their savage, divisive ideology. This Independence Day weekend has seen an eruption of shooting incidents. Six were killed at a Fourth of July parade in Chicago. North Carolina, Houston, Baltimore, New York and Indianapolis join Chicago as centers of multiple shootings that have injured at least a 100 individuals and resulted in more than a dozen deaths of children, teens and adults. The nation is witnessing furious backlash against the return to constitutional limits of power upon the federal government that the Left has spent a hundred years consolidating in Washington, D.C. Vilified by SCOTUS decisions to follow the Constitution that places authority in the states over that of the central government, members of Congress and administrative agencies have made it their business to rile up discontents, protesters and ideologues ignorant of the republic and how it was established to operate. States have always had the upper hand legislatively over the federal government but, for some reason, they have capitulated jurisdiction to D.C. until now. Cowardice is an incentive to do one of two things – sit back and relinquish authority or incite mob action to force their opinion on others. Either be bullied or be a bully.

Turning back Roe v. Wade to the authority of the states was the catalyst for mobs to rage through the streets

Covid-inspired federal mandates set the states in motion to take back their rightful jurisdiction, galvanizing challenges to more than forced masking, inoculations and lockdowns. Once the states applied their weight to remove the feds from health decisions, it encouraged more state legislators, governors and attorneys general to defy illegal immigration, environmental and commercial policies and other life-endangering regulations imposed by administrative agencies and judicial decisions. Turning back Roe v. Wade to the authority of the states was the catalyst for mobs to rage through the streets. Progressive and special interest tyrants finally received the message that their days of terrorizing the populace from the national capital were over. The decision spurred Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and others to spuriously call for abortions to be provided on federal land within states where the procedure is illegal. The proposal was quashed by the Biden administration indicating states' superior authority that could have "dangerous ramifications" if implemented. Widespread carnage inflicted by dutiful underlings is the orchestrated reaction to the wins for religious expression, free speech and commerce that has been logged at the end of this SCOTUS' term. Coach Kennedy won his bid to be able to pray silently on a football field following high school games, an endorsement for free expression of faith that has been obstructed by public officials. West Virginia v. EPA determined that emissions standards were not granted the EPA to devise arbitrary shifts in policy that encourages use of so-called renewable energy. Language and intent of Congress does not afford the EPA use of the Clean Air Act to punish clean coal and natural gas power generation.

EPA is relying on carbon pollution theories that have never been proven

Government has inappropriately commandeered the role of science arbiter due to previous SCOTUS opinions. Bestowing blessings upon inefficient, wasteful solar and wind technology while cursing tried and true clean coal, natural gas and nuclear power, the EPA is relying on carbon pollution theories that have never been proven. While West Virginia is a win, it is an inadequate victory to gut legislative overreach that purposely decimates commerce and, synchronously, livelihoods. Despite the Supreme Court of the United States dialing back the overextended arms of Congress and the Executive branch of government, there are a few decisions denying, or lack of conviction to hear cases acknowledging, the primacy of the People's will over that of their representatives, most of whom have abdicated that role and pretend to be rulers. On one side of the fence SCOTUS decided that states, by ratifying the Constitution, yielded sovereignty to raise and support national armed forces that Justice Thomas found problematic in Torres v. Texas Dept. of Public Safety: To nonetheless deem USERRA constitutional, the Court brushes aside a 23-year-old, pathbreaking precedent, while elevating a single phrase, made in passing in a one year-old, highly circumscribed precedent. It then uses that phrase to fashion a test for plan-of-the-Convention waiver that mimics earlier attempts by this Court to deny States the dignity owed to them in our system of dual federalism.

SCOTUS may step in to defend those rights against both national and state governments seeking to subjugate citizens

On the other side, SCOTUS refused to hear the case truckers brought against California's imposition of AB5 (California Trucking Association v. Bonta) that demonstrably restricts free enterprise by forbidding independent contracting, managing to further destroy the supply chain and stressing the economy. Looking at the two suits it appears the Supreme Court is deciding cases both ways – not recognizing state sovereignty on the one hand, and allowing states a free hand on the other in restricting Constitutional rights. It's clear that the states are sovereign as Justice Thomas wrote. Yet when a state tramples the basic rights of the People designated in state and federal constitutions, this is where SCOTUS may step in to defend those rights against both national and state governments seeking to subjugate citizens. This administration has claimed that it is willing to enforce the "liberal world order," whatever it takes, including annihilating everything in its path that loosens control of the administrative state. We, the People are standing in its way.
