Do Biden Voters Have Buyers Remorse?

The definition of buyers remorse: “it refers to negative emotions--as regret, anxiety, or guilt--that consumers may experience after buying an item”. Even though that definition relates to a purchase of an item, it can be projected to the negative feelings of many Democrats, who voted for Biden, who now feel about him running for reelection. With terrible poll numbers, even against his major rival, Republican Donald Trump, the Democrat elites are “getting out their knives” to try to cut away having Biden from being their nominee for president in 2024.

As chaotic as the Republican Party is at this time, it seems the Democrat Party is having an internal revolution of their own to a much greater extent. The vocal progressive segment of the Democrat Party, which includes the openly anti-Semitic group called “The Squad”, are openly in revolt against Biden's policies, and his disastrous poll numbers, which might drag their campaigns to defeat in 2024.

To an impartial observer, it seems that many Democrats see a defeat in 2024 if the Biden/Harris team are the nominees, therefore, they want him to drop out (gracefully) and a new candidate be chosen in their place to run against the “evil” Donald Trump. The names mentioned to replace Biden include Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, Michelle Obama and anyone other than Joe Biden.

The biggest problem the Democrats have against them is that in the minds of many voters, the country is “going to hell in a hand basket”, and the people attribute that to the policies of the Democrat Party with Joe Biden at the helm, and the voters are revolting. No amount of “happy talk” by Biden and his flunky's in the media can change the minds of people who mainly are living their lives paycheck to paycheck.

If you listen to the Democrats and Biden, you'd think that the world revolves around abortion, getting rid of fossil fuels, and making sure the “Fascist” MAGA Republicans do not come back into power to ruin the country and do away with our democracy. Biden's age and cognitive acuity are areas where even his most ardent past supporters, can't overlook to motivate them to get behind his reelection bid.

All signs point to Biden dropping out sometime in the near future as “buyers remorse” has set in the minds of the Democrats and no amount of “rose colored glasses” and rhetoric by Biden can stem the negative flow of regret, anxiety, and guilt that many of the Democrats and the voters have against Biden in particular, and the Democrats in general.

I predict, that even a thickheaded Biden will succumb to the movers and shakers of the Democrat Party, and will bow out gracefully from the pressure put on him by the Democrat hierarchy, as they couldn't fathom another Trump victory, if Biden runs. As they have done in the past, the Democrats will do anything to remain in power, even if it includes skirting the law to do so. The Republicans, if they saw what happened in 2020 and do not make tactical changes, will lose again. A word to the wise should be sufficient, but it would not be the first time the Republicans grabbed defeat out of the jaws of victory.
