Don’t Even Consider It

I have seen evidence that there are commentators who are suggesting to the falsely divided subgroups of America that they might just sit out the upcoming November 5, 2024, election. As Bonhoeffer suggests above, not to speak is the same as speaking up for the status quo, and not to act is the same as acting in support of the status quo. Carrying this one step further, not to vote is the same as a vote in favor of the status quo.

Do you simply hate Donald J. Trump more than you love America?

So if you are totally satisfied with the life you have in America, I suppose you can support it by not voting against it. I personally would never recommend that approach, but it is one of your options.

What is the fundamental issue in your mind?

Are you really satisfied with the quality of your life under the Harris/Biden administration or potentially under the Harris/Waltz administration? From now until the election, I want to properly attribute the current state of America by acknowledging that the candidate, Skam-ala Harris, is culpable in everything that has turned America into what it is today.

Were you dissatisfied with the quality of your life when Donald Trump was President?

I would ask if you love Kamala Harris and all that she has done “good” for America? If you don’t vote, that will answer my question.

In my opinion, in 2024, there is evil in the land we call the United States of America. Referring back to Bonhoeffer, silence in the face of evil is itself evil. In my mind, not voting against the evil in America is the same as voting for the evil that the current politicians are perpetrating on America in real time.

Don’t even consider not voting,. Man-up and take a stand. Make America Great Again or continue the slide into anarchy and chaos.
