Drawing the line on products consecrated to idols

There’s more than one way to skin a cat, as the old adage goes, but it can also be applied to butchering meat for human consumption. And what’s becoming more of a problem is how ideologies (in this context, idols really) are displacing clean, wholesome food.

What does the Bible say about consuming food that is dedicated to an idol? 

The idols to which food production and preparation is being sacrificed are that of islam and climate change (despite Bill Gates curiously claiming to abandon his belief in global destruction via CO2).

As muslims have been imported by the millions into the United States, they have forced themselves into the marketplace after crying “wolf” for being offended by pet dogs and trying to remove them from neighborhoods, to pressuring markets and restaurants to carry halal products.

What is halal food preparation? Slaughter of animals and processing completed according to islamic practices, which have differences from kosher processing. Meat processing plants that package halal products have a major issue that sets them apart from universal meat processing. That is the “bismallah” prayer that is invoked over animals at slaughter. This means that the animal is sanctified to an idol. Any god other than the one Creator God is an idol.

What does the Bible say about consuming food that is dedicated to an idol? The Book of Daniel, Chapter 1, sets the benchmark that the Apostle Paul later follows. When chosen boys are led away to serve the Babylonian king, they are placed on a special diet of foods that have first been consecrated to the heathen gods. Daniel and the three other youngsters selected from the Hebrew captives (renamed Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) refused to consume the defiled food as an affront to God. Not only do they thrive on the water and vegetables that bypassed dedication to idols, but they were healthier, stronger, and “ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his [Nebuchadnezzar’s] realm.” NKJV

That muslims are working diligently to shove halal down the throats of average Americans

Paul clarifies that foods dedicated to pagan gods are to be avoided. Acts 15:20,29, 21:25; 1 Cor 8:1-7. That consuming such foods are the first step in accepting heathen practices that eventually undermine one’s commitment to God. Giving in to one insignificant custom opens the door to allowing other ideological or religious systems’ inappropriate practices that can subvert a believer’s life.

The United States is experiencing these kinds of socially destabilizing encroachments on every level to the point that public schools, churches, government agencies, and charitable organizations have been subverted. Under the wrongheaded tolerance of foreign practices that reject the Judeo-Christian foundations of this nation, godly values have been perverted, displaced, and replaced.

That muslims are working diligently to shove halal down the throats of average Americans, who have lost their own identity, is a repudiation of the Constitution. Islam is an ideology disguised as a religion, doing its leaders’ best to subjugate our populace by setting up sharia, an incompatible, oppressive, alien legal system. To that point, there are two sharia courts reported to be operating on United States’ soil.

“Tolerant” appeasers occupying elected office and standing at pulpits have blindly led the way to our own destruction by avoiding confrontation. Whether it’s been due to laziness, dismissiveness, or cowardice, Christians, Jews and other religious adherents are finding halal products taking the place of products they are used to purchasing and comfortable consuming. All because a vociferous invasive minority claims victimization when they are victimizing the majority of Americans to bow to muslim preferences.

Communism and islam: a scourge to liberty

That is not how a free society operates, and individuals who insist that their values overpower and subjugate the majority values of our nation, are not welcome. Islam is bent on vanquishing other cultures to suit itself, a repressive and grotesque social order that dehumanizes women, children and “infidels.”

Unholy practices regarding food is not limited to halal. Although Bill Gates has backtracked on the climate change agenda publicly, he has invested heavily in development and distribution of laboratory-created fats, meats and insect-based products, whether “edible” crickets or bio-engineered mosquitoes. These are consecrated to the idol of climate change, no matter what Gates has said.

Poison comes in many different forms, attacking the spirit, the body, and the environment. Halal is sharia’s Trojan horse that desecrates Christian, Judaic and others’ religious mores by caterwauling about cultural suppression until it gains social and economic supremacy, illegitimately based on religious freedom. Islam sabotages all others’ ability to freely choose everything from family pets, to clothing, and even that of food. It is an invasive ideology, as is climate change.

At the least, the truth about climate change has finally inveigled its way into the majority’s understanding, that it’s not the ultimate threat to humanity. But, here, the argument is presented that islam is one of the two paramount threats to human freedom. Communism being the other. In their partnership, they create a scourge to liberty.

It’s a toss-up, then, as to who was the greatest con artist to walk this earth – Marx or Muhammed.

(Note: Islam and muslim are not capitalized because they refer to a political ideology, not a religion. For the same reason, communism, communist, republican, democrat or other political references are not capitalized. Marxism incorporates a proper name and is thus capitalized (unless I simply don’t feel like it because it’s an execrable ideology).
